Scope

This notice covers the MyHealthLogy web application. The journal at blogs.myhealthlogy.com is a separate WordPress site and may use different cookies and plugins. Check its privacy notice before commenting or using embedded media.

Information you provide

Account creation requires an email, password and password confirmation. A random username is assigned automatically, and the initial display name is Member. After signup, you may optionally add your name, choose a different username or provide a phone number. Passwords are hashed before storage. You may also provide check-ins, preferences, measurements and documents through available account features. A phone number with country code is optional. Existing optional account information may remain stored.

Purposes and recipients

Account and wellness data support sign-in, saved history, requested tools, security and support. Hosting and database services process information to operate the app. If you use social login, the selected provider processes that sign-in. Stripe processes payment details when you purchase. These providers have their own privacy notices.

Browser storage and analytics

Session cookies support authentication. Tai Chi preferences and activity timestamps are saved in browser storage. Clearing browser storage removes local preferences but does not delete server records. Optional funnel measurement is off until allowed; its events contain only the journey name, action and step number, not assessment answers, email or account identifiers.

Managed family records and uploads

You may create a profile for an adult family member who has permitted you to manage their records. The profile stores their name, relationship, optional birth year, notes and your permission confirmation timestamp. Managed readings and uploaded documents remain in your account and are not included in measurement-sharing requests. You can edit the profile or delete it together with its managed readings and documents. PDF and image uploads are stored as files; they are not automatically analyzed. CSV imports add structured readings to the selected record. Downloads and exports create copies outside the service, which you control.

Sharing with people you choose

Measurements are not shared with other app users by default. You can create a view-only request for an adult account by username, selecting measurement types, a rolling history window and an expiry. New readings within that scope are included until expiry. The recipient must accept before viewing. You can revoke a request, and recipients can decline or remove it. Revocation blocks future requests; an open view rechecks access while visible. Previously saved copies or screenshots cannot be recalled. Reports, check-ins and account details are not included in these measurement shares. Sharing relationships and request status are stored to operate access controls. Hosting and database operators still process data to run the service.

Your choices

You can use the public preview without an account, skip optional measurements and decline optional journey analytics. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of account information. Verification may be necessary to protect your information. Legal requirements can affect what records must be retained.

Security and limits

We use session controls and password hashing. No online system can promise absolute security. Do not use the app to transmit emergency requests or information about other people without permission.

Adults and changes

The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Material changes to this notice will be reflected in its effective date. Rights and obligations depend on the laws that apply to your use.
